Surrounded by the Malvern Hills and the picturesque Teme Valley, Ryeland Loft enjoys seclusion away from the crowds. The views are long reaching across farmland unaltered for centuries in all directions. It's a perfect place to stay for walking, cycling and driving around a still relatively undiscovered part of England. The area is famous for its fruit orchards and hops fields and so is a gastronome's delight. Enjoy the flavours of the region in its local food, beers and ciders. We are lucky to have some of the country's finest Michelin starred restaurants within easy reach.
Tenbury Wells is a small ancient market town situated in the very north-west of Worcestershire on the A456 road. The River Teme, which runs along the edge of the town, separates Worcestershire and Shropshire and the Herefordshire border is less than a mile away. The famous 16th century Tenbury Bridge, with its bend in the middle, crosses the Teme at one end of the main street and is considered to be the gateway to the town. Nestling peacefully in the beautiful Teme Valley and set within a short drive of the historic towns of Hereford, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Leominster and Ludlow there is much to explore and enjoy.
Tenbury lies in an area known for growing hops and cider apples and also the rearing of cattle and sheep, for which the annual Agricultural and Countryside Show in August each year is a wonderful advertisement. rearing of cattle and sheep, for which the annual Agricultural and Countryside Show in August each year is a wonderful advertisement.

Let's go racing! Some of our favourite eateries include The Baiting House at Upper Sapey which is also next door to a very nice 18 hole golf course, which is open to non-members with very reasonable green fees, and then nearby we are lucky to have the Michelin star Pensons restaurant, which celebrates fabulous local produce - in fact it's the closest restaurant to Ryeland Loft! Slightly further afield to the west the fabulous Oak at Wigmore, Riverside at Aymstrey and the Cider Barn at Pembridge are equally special places to eat.
