This is glamping at its most luxurious, The Hide, in the Malvern Hills, is totally off grid, surrounded by glorious English countryside and wildlife.
A dose of nature combined with off grid luxury in the Malvern Hills, featuring an outside bath in a wholesome tranquil environment surrounded by glorious oak trees, fields, wildlife, herbal leys, all of which fuel the body and calm the mind. Wi-Fi, wet room, gas hob, TV, king size bed and heating inside. Outside find furniture, fire pit for cooking in the summer, cosy log burner and star gazing in winter. Perfect for guests seeking a tranquil getaway surrounded by nature and spectacular night skies.
Situated just off a private track and surrounded by the owners' farmland, you can enjoy the very best of rural Worcestershire. Walk for miles along the networks of footpaths and bridle tracks from the doorstep. The market town of Tenbury Wells is just a few miles away and Ludlow is a little further with its abundance of fantastic restaurants, famous racetrack and food festival.
King-size bed with a freestanding fan for the hot days, off grid will not support AC. The wet room has a gravity rain shower, again this is off grid glamping, no power showers here, but you can immerse yourself in the wonderful double-ended bath outside.
Cooking facilities comprise a 4 ring gas hob and outside barbeque. Gas fired central heating and hot water. The Hide is powered by solar and a silent generator (which is not silent, only kicking in if there is excess power usage).
Wi-Fi is good, supplied through a mobile router. Mobile signal is also good here. There is a TV and a fridge with a mini freezer for ice. Parking is right next to the front door. Motorbikes and bikes are also welcome, with plenty of space to park up.
The patio is simply furnished with wooden armchairs and foot stalls and a hammock during the summer months. The outside bath is discretely tucked into a corner.
You are visiting The Hide to enjoy the countryside and its offerings... owls that live in the hay barn at the bottom of the half acre, hares that live in the fields, ancient Oak trees and general tranquility. We advise guests to treat their visit as luxury glamping in order manage expectations. It does not have the facilities of a 5* hotel, it has limitations! It can get hot in the summer, we provide a fan, it does not have AC but it is such a glorious location it's perfect to sleep with the trifold doors open.
Access to the Hide is via a narrow tarmac track that is also public bridle path and public footpath network offering fabulous walking and exploring from the Hide. While they are infrequently used you may come across riders so please be considerate and don't startle horses. we have placed a mirror on the path so that when you exit the property in a vehicle, please do check that nothing 2 or 4 legged is coming up or down the track before pulling out.
We are super environmentally friendly and conscious of our carbon footprint with this latest addition. We have planted over 1200m of native hedging in 2024, using the fleeces from our Ryeland sheep flock to mulch and retain moisture during establishment. Unfortunately due to power restrictions and insurance cover the provision of electric vehicle charging has been prohibited. If you drive an EV and need a charging point we can give you information.
